The first Carnegie Train-the-Trainer Programme: 18-23 July 2010, Leriba Lodge, Centurion
After a careful selection and evaluation process, the following Academy alumni (five academic and five public librarians) have been selected for participation in the first Train-the-Trainer Programme
  1. Modisa Khosie (University of Limpopo – Medunsa Library)
  2. Sulaiman Majal (Cape Peninsula University of Technology – Cape Town Campus Library)
  3. Annah Matodzi (University of Venda Library)
  4. Jacob Mothutsi (University of Pretoria Library Services – Mamelodi Campus Library)
  5. Suzette Oosthuizen (University of Fort Hare Library)
  6. Samantha Christians (City of Cape Town – Pinelands Library)
  7. Abigail Chuene (Polokwane Municipal Libraries)
  8. Motsarome Mabena (City of Tshwane Metro Libraries)
  9. Nkhensani Mulaudzi (City of Johannesburg Libraries)
  10.  Pranisha Parag (Msunduzi Municipal Library)

These individuals now form part of a national pool of 30 skilled library trainers to be involved in the effective transferring of learning and training skills to the broader South African Library and Information Services Sector.
