PIN

According to licence agreements for electronic resources, each registered library user needs a PIN to access it online. PIN numbers are also used to access exam papers, My Library Record as well as to complete the online CIL test.

To register a PIN:

  • Click on My Library Record
  • Put in your student/personnel/card number
  • Leave the PIN block open and click on SUBMIT
  • On the next screen you will be prompted for a PIN you create yourself (4 -6 numbers, no sequals, no duplicates)
  • Confirm the chosen PIN
  • SUBMIT

To reset a PIN:

  • Click on My Library Record
  • Put in your student/personnel/card number
  • Click Request a new PIN
  • Fill in student/personnel or card number
  • SUBMIT
  • An e-mail will be send to the e-mail address on your library record

If you do not receive the e-mail in due course, contact the circulation desk of your home library.
