| Regulations |
- A recent updated card is required to enter the library.
- Borrowers’ cards are not transferable.
- It is your responsibility to keep track of items checked
out to you. Visit My
Library Record
- Do not check out items for other users and avoid giving
loans to them to return.
- All e-mail addresses must be current – we send
notices regarding checked out items/return dates to all
patrons.
- Users are liable for stolen, lost and damaged material
checked out to them.
- Lost library cards must be reported to the Circulation
desk immediately.
- Library users’ cards only available at Client Service
Centre (@R50 per card) – only operating during office
hours.
- Unauthorised removal of any Library material or equipment
from the library will be treated as a disciplinary offence.
- Ethical and professional conduct regarding library services
and facilities.
- Please refrain from making noise.
- Silence should be observed in the library and in any
area not specifically designated as discussion areas.
- Cell phone calls are not permitted in the library.
- Verbal abuse of library personnel or security services
will not be tolerated.
- Food and drinks are not allowed in the library. Only
closed water bottles are permitted.
- No stationery is available in the library. Please make
sure that you bring your own.
