Interlending of library material from other libraries
 
If the item you need to get hold of is not available from our electronic journals A-Z list, library catalogue, Google Scholar or Google you can request the item from another library.

Register as an interlending user by either completing the:

ONLINE FORM or the PRINT VERSION

To be able to make use of the interlending facility at the library, please do the following:

1. Only registered library users can register as interlending users. If you haven't registered as a library user for the current year yet, please do so first: Lecturers  -  Students.
2. Once you have been registered, register as an interlending user by completing the
ONLINE FORM or the PRINT VERSION.
3. You will receive an User ID and Password via e-mail that you can then use to request material via SACat (Sabinet). See Procedure for requesting items from other libraries.
4. If the item is not available from a local library, it can be requested from an overseas library. Please contact Ms Maria Mtsweni in this regard.
5. For inquiries regarding items requested in South Africa, please contact Ms Maria Mtsweni.

Complete the following form and click on "Send Form". Your User ID and Password will be send to you by the Interlending Staff within 48 hours, provided that your application adheres to the guidelines set out in the Interlending Policy.
