Johannes Moropotli was our star performer in April when he tackled the massive task of packing a donation of veterinary journals into 250 boxes ready for the US Embassy to collect and send to a veterinary faculty library in Nigeria. Hundreds of issues covering 46 journal titles had to first be sorted and a list compiled with the help of Sanah Mphaga and Marguerite Nel.

Our thanks to the US Embassy for this very worthwhile endeavour, initiated by Prof Gummow after a recent visit to a Nigerian veterinary faculty. A very big thank you as well to the staff of the Vet Academic Information Service who so willingly help to improve information provision at veterinary libraries elsewhere in Africa.
